The prospect of the City of London, Westminster & St. James’ Park is the largest view of the city ever to be published. Despite the amount of space it devotes to St. James’ Park it is also one of the most useful. Jan Kip moved to London c. 1682 and chose to settle close to the Palace of Westminster near Storeys Gate.
