Tallis’s street views are carefully drawn elevations of both sides of London’s principal streets – a remarkable source for any student of London’s topographical history.  Shirley Hale of Dunedin, New Zealand, has indexed every personal name and business shown in the elevations – a remarkable tool for researchers it’s provided in searchable form on a CD ROM.
