This panorama was the London Topographical Society’s first publication in 1881-2. It was printed on seven large sheets, each with two drawings, showing north and south of the Thames. Long out of print, 115 years later it was decided to reproduce them in book form, each drawing accompanied by a numbered outline and a key. A fifteenth drawing, filling in details of Whitehall Palace and which was left blank in Drawing 1 of the original panorama, has been included here.
